It started innocuously, a silly "team-building" project conceived by a fellow employee to inject some fun in the upcoming "Harvest Festival" (i.e. Halloween) holiday. The rules were simple: take the provided coloring book page, decorate it with crayon, add captions and/or word balloons, and submit it for judging. The "most creative" submission would receive some trinket of accomplishment.

I can honestly say that in the beginning I was a reluctant participant. In the name of community cooperation, I would submit some smug in-joke and leave it at that, as the next image will attest.
